A: Immanuel is a church in formation. We will launch a monthly worship service beginning Sunday, September 7th.
A: We meet at Agathos Classical School every other week for our All Immanuel Prayer and Planning. On the weeks between, we meet in homes for a potluck meal.
We are currently searching for a Sunday morning location for our monthly services beginning Sunday, September 7th.
A: Anglicans are Christians worship and practice as described in the Book of Common Prayer. You’ll find some similarities to other sacramental, liturgical traditions and some similarities to reformed traditions as Anglicanism takes the via media, i.e. the middle way.
If you’re a reader, The Anglican Way by Fr. Thomas McKenzie is a great introduction to Anglicanism. If a short you tube series would be helpful, our bishop, Alex Cameron, did a four part intro series covering the foundations of Anglicanism (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4).
A: Our sending church is Church of the Redeemer in Nashville and we are part of the Diocese of Pittsburgh in the Anglican Church in North America.
