Immanuel Children’s Ministry

At Immanuel Anglican Church, we believe children are a gift to be cherished and that it is our calling to love and nurture them in the family of God. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Immanuel Children’s Ministry aims to help children get to do exactly that.

As a church plant, we are excited to launch a full children’s ministry in the near future. Currently, we run a nursery program for ages 0-3 during our Sunday worship services. Parents can drop their kids off before service begins and pick them up during the passing of the peace half way through the service.

Safety

We take the safety of our little ones seriously. Every volunteer goes through a background check and safety training and our programs abide by the Immanuel Safety Covenant (you can read for yourself here).

Full Participation

Children are members of God’s family. They may be young, but they are not less. In fact, adults have much to learn about faith from children (Matt 18:3). Children are picked up during the Passing of the Peace Immanuel is designed to allow families to take communion together.

Partnership with Parents

Immanuel’s children’s ministry exists to come along side parents in the work of discipling your children. Children’s ministry provides a space for kids to learn the story of Scripture, who Jesus is, and other important lessons of the faith that will be worked out day in and day out at home.
